I’m Ghazal.

I’m a Southern California-based UX/UI designer influenced by technology, visual/ industrial design and cognitive behaviors. I’m always leaning towards simplicity and human touch. I have worked in the design Industry for the last 8 years. I’m currently the Senior Product Designer at Draftkings helping them to create engaging and visually appealing interfaces that make it easy for users to place bets, manage their accounts, and interact with other users on the platform. I also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising of design personnel, developers, and product managers to craft immersive and compelling user experiences that align with the company's strategic objectives.

As a Product Designer, I’m passionate about participating in all phases of a product design, from discovery to the final deliverable handed off to the development team and all the iteration in-between. DraftKings Inc. is a digital sports entertainment and gaming company created to fuel the competitive spirits of sports fans with products that range across daily fantasy, regulated gaming, and digital media.

Main achievements

Conducted user research to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points.

Their suite of cloud-based software and data solutions includes point of sale, logistics and ordering solutions that enable customers to scale their businesses while complying with the complex and disparate regulations applicable to the cannabis industry.

Main achievements

Created design artifacts including but not limited to: information architecture diagrams, user
flows, user stories, use cases, research plans, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.Produced documents that define functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, site-maps, process flowcharts, page description diagrams.

Established Usability Test as a step for product development, instituting a user-centered design approach.
